MisterEtec is an Indian online marketplace where independent sellers list and sell everyday products to customers across the country. This page explains who we are, how the marketplace works, what you can buy, and how to reach a real person when you need one.

MisterEtec is the trading name of Deepak Kumar Mishra, a sole proprietorship registered in India.

How our marketplace works

MisterEtec operates as an online marketplace and intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Products are listed and sold by independent third-party sellers whom we onboard and verify, and some are sold by MisterEtec directly.

• Every product page names the seller of that item under “Sold by”.
• The GST tax invoice in your parcel is issued by that seller.
• For a marketplace listing, the contract of sale is between you and the seller. MisterEtec provides the storefront, order management, payment collection, logistics coordination, customer support and the Buyer Protection Program.
• Every seller must hold a valid GSTIN (or a valid exemption declaration), PAN and a verified bank account and pickup address before a single listing goes live. Full obligations are in our Sellers Terms & Conditions.

MisterEtec is a general-merchandise marketplace. Our sellers list the same kinds of everyday products you would expect from any major Indian online marketplace, across categories such as:

• Home, kitchen and household essentials
• Home décor and furnishings
• Lifestyle, fashion and personal accessories
• Personal care and grooming
• Books, stationery and office supplies

As on any marketplace, the assortment changes as sellers add, update and withdraw listings, and as we onboard new sellers. The categories and products live on the site at any given moment are the definitive list of what is available — if something is not listed, we are not offering it. We do not advertise stock we cannot supply, and we do not list a product until a verified seller is ready to fulfil it.

What you can expect

• Transparent pricing. All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of GST. Delivery charges appear in the order summary before you pay, and the amount on that screen is the final amount payable — no surcharge or convenience fee is added afterwards. See our Payment Policy.
• Clear delivery terms. Free delivery on orders of ₹500 and above; a flat ₹49 charge below that. Timelines and serviceable areas are in our Shipping Policy.
• Returns you can actually use. Return and replacement windows by category, free return shipping on eligible returns, no restocking fee, and refunds to the original payment method. See the Cancellation & Returns Policy.
• Secure payments. UPI, cards, net banking and Cash on Delivery where available, processed by a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN — see Safe & Secure Shopping.
• Buyer Protection. Eligible buyers are covered by our Buyer Protection Program against problems such as non-delivery, a wrong item or a defective product. Scope, limits and the claim process are set out in our Terms of Use.
• Genuine products only. Counterfeit, replica and unauthorised refurbished-as-new goods are prohibited on the platform. Valid complaints lead to immediate delisting and can lead to permanent removal of the seller.

What we do for sellers

We give small and medium-sized Indian sellers a route to a national audience, with tools for listings, inventory, orders, returns and payouts, and a fee structure that is visible in the seller dashboard before it is charged. Fees and settlement terms are published in our Seller Fee & Policy, and packaging standards in our Packaging Guidelines. Sellers can list in any category permitted by law and by our policies.

Our commitment to compliance

We operate under the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. A GST tax invoice is issued for every order. If you need input tax credit on a business purchase, enter your GSTIN and business name before placing the order — it cannot be added to an invoice afterwards. Mandatory product declarations, including country of origin and net quantity where applicable, are the responsibility of the seller and are shown on the product page.
