Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains accepted payment methods, pricing, authorizations, security, refunds, and dispute handling for purchases made on MisterETec. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1. Accepted payment methods

  • Debit and credit cards, net-banking, UPI, and other RBI-compliant digital methods shown at checkout.
  • Cash on Delivery may be available for select pincodes and order values at our discretion.
  • Gift cards, store credit, or coupons may be used where offered and subject to specific terms on the product or offer page.

2. Currency and taxes

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Applicable taxes are shown at checkout and on the invoice.

3. Payment authorization and verification

  • When you place an order, your issuing bank or payment app may place an authorization hold or complete the charge.
  • We may contact you for order or identity verification if we detect unusual activity. Processing continues after successful verification.

4. Payment security

  • Payments are processed over encrypted connections. Sensitive card data is handled by authorized payment service providers.
  • Your account password is created by you and stored using industry-standard one-way hashing with salt. We cannot view or retrieve your password in plain text.

5. Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • COD availability depends on pincode, order value, and delivery conditions.
  • The carrier may collect the amount at delivery. Please keep exact tender where required.
  • Refusing COD parcels repeatedly without valid reason may lead to restrictions on future COD orders.

6. Coupons, gift cards, and store credit

  • Only one coupon may be applied per order unless stated otherwise.
  • Coupons and gift cards are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may carry validity dates or category exclusions.
  • Store credit is applied automatically at checkout when available.

7. Failed or pending transactions

  • If your account is debited but the order is not confirmed, the payment may be reversed automatically by your bank or credited back by the gateway.
  • Most reversals reflect within 3 to 7 business days, depending on the issuing bank or payment app.

8. Duplicate charges

  • If you notice a duplicate charge, contact us with the order number, transaction reference, and screenshots. After verification, any excess amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

9. Refunds

  • Refunds for cancelled orders, returns, or unfulfilled items are issued to the original payment method after approval under the applicable policy.
  • Typical refund timelines are 5 to 7 working days from approval, subject to bank or gateway processing.
  • For Cash on Delivery returns, refunds may be issued via bank transfer or another method shown in your account, after successful pickup and quality checks.

10. Partial shipments and price adjustments

  • If an order is shipped in parts, you will be charged for the shipped items only. Any unshipped items may be cancelled and refunded if stock is unavailable.

11. Chargebacks and disputes

  • If you raise a chargeback with your bank or app, please also inform us so we can share proof of delivery and transaction details.
  • Unauthorised transaction claims may require a police report or formal declaration, as per bank guidelines.

12. Pricing errors

  • In case of typographical or system pricing errors, orders may be cancelled or updated. You will be notified and any payment collected for the cancelled portion will be refunded.

13. Invoicing

  • Invoices are generated for eligible orders and include applicable taxes. You can download the invoice from your account or from the order email where available.

14. Responsible use and fraud prevention

  • Do not share one-time passwords or card information with anyone. We never ask for your password.
  • We may suspend accounts and cancel orders suspected of fraud, misuse of coupons, or other policy violations.
