This policy explains how seller charges, adjustments, refunds, and payouts are handled on MisterETec. The exact fee applicable to an order is shown in the seller dashboard or fee summary before it is charged. MisterETec does not rely on hidden charges.
1. Possible seller charges
- Marketplace or referral fee: a category-based charge for a completed sale, where configured.
- Payment processing fee: a charge associated with online payment processing, where applicable.
- Shipping or Express Delivery charge: the quoted logistics amount and any approved delivery adjustment.
- Return or reverse-logistics charge: a charge arising from an eligible return pickup or return-to-origin movement.
- Storage, fulfilment, advertising, or optional service fee: charged only when the seller has enrolled in that service.
- Taxes: GST, TCS, TDS, or other statutory deductions as required by applicable law.
2. Fee visibility
Current rates may vary by category, product, seller plan, fulfilment method, destination, promotional programme, or applicable tax. Sellers must review the fee preview and settlement details available in their dashboard. If a displayed fee conflicts with a general description on this page, the order-level fee record and applicable written programme terms control.
3. Order settlement and payout
- Settlement is calculated from the customer payment minus valid fees, taxes, refunds, reversals, and adjustments.
- Payout is released only after the order and payment satisfy the applicable settlement conditions.
- Bank or identity verification, unresolved disputes, suspected fraud, chargebacks, or legal requirements may delay a payout.
- The seller dashboard settlement statement is the primary record for order-level calculations.
4. Cancellations, returns, and seller-fault adjustments
Charges may be reversed or adjusted when an order is cancelled before fulfilment. Costs caused by incorrect products, missing items, inadequate packaging, counterfeit goods, inaccurate descriptions, seller rejection, failed handover, or other seller-controlled failures may be assigned to the seller after review.
5. Express Delivery responsibilities
- Keep the Express Delivery shift active only while products are ready for immediate fulfilment.
- Maintain correct inventory, pickup address, operating hours, and contact information.
- Prepare and seal the parcel before rider arrival.
- Verify the authorised rider and pickup reference before handover.
6. Disputes
Raise a fee or settlement dispute through seller support with the order number, settlement reference, reason, and supporting evidence. Duplicate requests or unsupported claims may delay review. MisterETec will retain an auditable record of the decision.
7. Policy changes
MisterETec may update fees or programme terms prospectively. Material changes will be communicated through the seller dashboard, registered email, or another official channel before they apply, unless an immediate change is required by law, tax, fraud prevention, or a delivery provider.
For the current fee applicable to a specific product or order, use the seller dashboard rather than relying on screenshots or older copies of this policy.
